About DJ Eric
DJ Eric aka Rick Wold has loved music since he was very young, with a wide range of influences. Musical collection ranges from 40s/50s jazz to 50's/60's rock all the way up to today's club hits and house music with a good mix of country, pop and more.
DJ Eric, the youngest of four siblings, started playing his brother and sisters 50's/60's rock n roll 45's on the family phonograph, before getting his first LP, a monoraul version of The Beatles "Meet the Beatles" (which he still owns). Listening to CHOM-FM from Montreal in High School was when DJ Eric first heard segues and decided that he wanted to mix songs. Starting out in a local bar, then college radio (talk about an eclectic show), then on to commercial radio, where he did every shift - the first morning drive was when doing an overnight and the morning jock didn't show up!
Currently he is using two Pioneer CDJs 1000/1000MK2, and an HP laptop with Traktor DJ Studio 3. DJ Eric has his own amplifiers, speakers and lights if needed.
Available for clubs, private parties, wedding receptions, and voice overs.
